Welcome to the website of the Gamma Theta Lambda (GTL) chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; seated in Wilmington, DE.

I am Bro. Rev. Dr. Meredith Griffin, currently serving as the 33rd Chapter President of the Gamma Theta Lambda chapter. 

Since August 27, 1945, Brothers of this chapter have been dedicated to empowering and uplifting our communities, while upholding and exemplifying the aims, mission, and objectives of the fraternity. 

As we are now in our 75th year, the chapter continues to support each other and our families, serve the community, and collaborate with local, county, and state organizations to broaden the positive impacts on the community. Some of the many activities performed by the chapter include Voter Registration, Education, and Mobilization; a mentor program for young men; Adopt-a-Family, Toys for Tots, and sponsors/volunteers for the AIDS Delaware and March of Dimes programs. The Gamma Theta Lambda Chapter also serves as the advisors to the collegiate chapter, Xi Omicron, seated at the University of Delaware.

The Gamma Theta Lambda Education Foundation (GTLEdF) serves as our non-profit charitable arm to provide educational and social activities for the community and to raise funds for scholarships for high school seniors attending college. Bringing the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater to Delaware, via the GTLEdF, is one of our biggest fundraisers while providing the community with an educational and cultural event.
